3 stars (Too Easy) - I am working with a rising senior; she and I both feel the tests in this book are too easy and easier than the real SAT. I am resorting to old volumes of "10 Real SAT's" and other company's test prep materials. 5 stars (The Official SAT Study Guide: For the New SAT) - Exactly what I need to teach the SAT. 1 stars (This is not even funny) - Is it a good book or not? Does it help or you are waisting you time and money? It, baby, depends on what you are lookin' for. If you want to study for SAT then you have no choice but to buy this book. What you will see on a test day is in this book. This writing comes from test-makers and you can (hopefully obviously) assume that it will help. I don't really know what to say here... 5 stars (Amazing book) - This book is an exquisitely done companion book to the exhibit. Every piece from the exhibit is highlighted in the book, with an appropriate discription and background. If you enjoy Ancient Egypt, get this book, whether you have the chance to see the exhibit or not. It's a great companion to the exhibit if you can see it, but a great substitute if you can't. 5 stars (Beautiful Photographs from the National Geographic.) - This magnificant book is the companion book to go with the Tutankhamun exhibition that is currently touring the United States. It features the magnificant photography for which National Geographic is famous complete with a narative written by Zahi Hawass, the secretary general of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities and director of the Giza and Saqqara Pyramids. In the descriptions, he talks about the life of the boy king, the state of Egypt at the time, the religion and much more. Each piece of the exhibit is discussed as to what it is, what significance it has, and where it was found. Perhaps most striking is the reconstructed image of Tutankhamun. It was made by a special CT scanner that obtained images from inside the mummy's wrappings without damaging them. This created the first three-dimensional picture of Tutankhamun. The exhibit will show in LA, June 16 to November 15, 2005, Ft. The Real ACT Prep Guide- The Only Official Prep Guide From The Makers Of The ACT Real Act Prep Guid

5 stars (Best Book Out There) - Everyone studies for the ACT in a different way but the one thing that everyone needs to do is practice. This book offers 3 practice tests published by the College Board. Getting into the ACT offers 2. My advice is get both of them. When I did 2 practice tests before this book I got 28's on both. Then I worked through the 3 tests in it and saw significant improvements each time. When I finally took the ACT I got a 31 on it so from personal experience I recommend this book. 5 stars (Taking the ACT, this book is a "must have"!) - The Real ACT Prep Guide is a great resource for preparing for the test. I can't understand why anyone would pay hundreds of dollars for a classroom course or private tutor, when they can just buy this book? The Real ACT Prep Guide allowed me to work at my own pace, whenever I wanted to, 24/7. Most importantly the "retired" practice test questions have given me a major confidence boost for the upcoming ACT. 5 stars (Awesome Test Prep) - This book is great. LSAT Answers- Unauthorized- Unofficial - Unsurpassed Explanations

5 stars (As expected) - Friendly notification of item sent, and quick delivery! Item as described. A highly recommended seller! 3 stars (Be Careful Assuming It Actually Has All the "Answers") - Because there aren't comparable books out there with explanations for every test question in every released LSAT Preptest included in "10 More Actual, Official LSAT Preptests," I would still consider buying this book for lack of a better option. However, calling the explanations "Unsurpassed" is reaching quite a bit. The reasoning given for why wrong answers are wrong is often not helpful, and sometimes even incorrect. The book occasionally makes a correct answer sound like it should have been chosen as the best selection among poor choices, but if someone understands the actual logical basis behind a correct answer, then the correct answer is clearly the only choice that would satisfy a question. For example, the book has a habit of dismissing incorrect answers with the terribly unhelpful explanation, "So what?" That is not a paraphrase; the book will actually analyze an incorrect answer choice with the words, "So what?" Now, if someone picked that answer choice, and needed help understanding why it was wrong, "So what?" would not even begin to help him or her. "So what?" is not a sufficient explanation because, if it were that obvious, no one would have ever been tempted to choose an incorrect answer choice in the first place! Regarding the inaccurate reasoning given for eliminating wrong answer choices and selecting the right one, an example wouldn't be very clear here because it would be totally out of context for someone who didn't have the Preptest questions in front of him or her to examine. However, consider looking through the book at a bookstore after taking a Preptest, and carefully reading the explanations that "LSAT Answers" provides for why any of your correct answers are correct. You won't have to read many before you'll find one that is really noth...

I as kinda dissapointed because I though the book would be a replica of the "real" Book of Shadows. 2 stars (Information Too Difficult to Find and Too Small Print to Read) - This book contains a lot of information, however some of it is too difficult to locate and the print is so small that you have to use a magnafying glass to read it!! I have used it twice and threw it in a drawer. 5 stars (Makes reading a cookbook fun!) - There's a story behind every recipe, and this is hilarious book! My mother frowned upon the title, but couldn't put the book down. I'm buying several for Christmas presents. 5 stars (For All GRITS) - I laughed 'til I cried. It's a must read for all of us GRITS (Girls Raised In The South). I ordered more to give as gifts to all my Southern girlfriends! 3 stars (Funny at times but also a bit trite) - This book was fun to read in that it did a realistic comparison between the habits of bringing food to funerals in the south in that those of us who are from the south have actually eaten many of the foods described in the book. It is really part cookbook and part fun read, however, as much of the book is taken up with the recipes. After reading it, I passed it on to a friend who is from Nashville and who enjoys the southern culture and cooking. 5 stars (Finally, a basic building guide that encompases all builders) - As a long-time Lego builder I was very happy to see that something new was coming onto the scene in regards to a holistic approach to building. This guide takes even the most amateur builders, and manages to bring them through the basic steps and building techniques to a point where they are sure to become advance Lego creators. With detailed images that display parts, concepts, and myriad examples, this guide leaves nothing to the imagination, and will allow builders of all stripes to not only improve, but be creative in areas that may have been foriegn to them before the Unnofficial Lego Builders Guide. As a long-time Lego modeler I am impressed with the content, quality, and dynamics of this guide, and know it will become a classic of the Lego environment within a short period of time. For me the highlight of the book is compendium of every NFL record you could care to imagine. And, it has details of each and every Super Bowl, including every Super Bowl record you can conceive of. It also has playoff records too. It also has a complete breakdown of EVERY game from the previous year. Another excellent piece is a complete mini-history of every NFL team plus, most interesting and nostalgic, the career, single season, and single game records in many categories fans will be interested in (rushing, passing, receiving, and a few others. There is additional information such as scheduling formulas, a break down of the rules, an explanation of the passer rating system, and this year's schedule. There's more too.... like the entire roster of the Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees. This Record and Fact book is well organized and it is easy to find what you need. You want to resolve a dispute with some friend about some NFL historical fact or record? It'll be easy with this volume. Real Ultimate Power- The Official Ninja Book

5 stars (Amazing Book) - This is the most incredible ninja book ever. It is absolutely hilarious, from cover to cover. 4 stars (Totally Sweet!) - This book is cool, and by cool I mean totally sweet. Robert is a troubled young man, but his book amply shows he has real guts. Not everyone could write a book about ninjas and still have the courage to display his personal problems at the same time. Pure genius and funny to boot. 5 stars (Every Single Page = Laugh Out Loud) - i am not kidding when i say that. you can open to any single page in this book, and read any random passage and be brought to tears of laughter. i bought this book while in downtown philadelphia. i've been to the website about 2 years ago, and was familiar with the writing of robert hamburger. the book was on display on the front counter...the last copy. i didn't even know such a book was in existance. i purchased it immediately, and didn't even think twice about it. i've never had such a great time with a book. i bring it with me to read to my friends, and even to school to read during downtime...even though that's not a good idea because i usually end up with difficulty breathing because i laugh so hard. there is seriously no reason to not buy this book, unless you are a conservative christian woman who is a single mother of 3 kids...the type of person that has tried to sue mr. hamburger and ban his book around the country. buy this book, or forever hold your peace. ...
