5 stars (What is Thy Will, M'lord?) - Well it seems up to me to set the record here... There aren't many reviews as of this typing and the game is getting scarce (might be discontinued - stores aren't getting new copies?)... So what's the boggle folks? Three important points to cover in this review, here they go: 1. Performance? This game, as far as I've experienced, as no bugs. It runs flawlessly, doesn't stutter or pause at all, and the graphics and sound quality are astounding. If you like 3D then Poo-Poo on you: the 2D graphics in this game outshine many 3D games on the market. The major problems that many PC-gamers have that they don't realize are among the following: virus scanning software running in the background, unnecessary background programs in memory, outdated drivers (video, sound, motherboard, etc), or just plain shoddy equipment (the cheapest and best advertised isn't the best quality!)... For the sake of guidance make sure you PC matches or exceeds the minimum requirements: the game developers did a good job of estimating what kind of hardware is needed to run the game smoothly... 2. Gameplay? Moooohahah! Total War - Total what? Knights of Honor (KoH) is on a level that cannot be compared with the current offering of strategy titles - perhaps that is why it hasn't exploded on the scene... KoH is much slower paced than other games (possibly even more time-consuming than Civilization - or at least equal)... But that is its strength: if you don't like to micromanage and don't have the patience to wait several minutes for something, anything, to happen then don't bother with KoH... The user interface, help menus, and in-game events are easy to follow and manipulate. The options for guiding your nation surpass any game I've played recently (again with maybe the exception of the latest Civlization offering)... If you like Civilization and Medieval simulations then KoH has consumed anything available today - play the demo and see for yoursel...

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2- The Sith Lords

4 stars (No Title(still)) - Knights of the Old Republic is the infamous 2003 game of the year. But the sequal is anything but game of the year material. I think that the one thing people liked about the first game was the detail, characters, and the plot twists. Okay, lets start in the detail. Once agian, the Bioware team knock my socks off with their insanly detailed character models, mabey not Halo or Metroid pixals, but it checks out in my book. Number dos, the characters. You once agian get thrown in with the oddest asortment of torture droids, jedi masters, and hot redhead bounty hunters. Thought some of your party members do reveal Revan's secrets -cough Keria- you can't find any party members famaly like you did with almost your whole party in the last game, although you do need some backround influnce to turn them into jedis'. The cameo aperences are extreme cameos, you see 10 seconds of Admiral Carth Onasi other than that, you have your two favorite droids in your posse (not C3-PO & R2), and HK-47 has some nice opions and voice recitings of Carth and the nice kissing scene with you and Bastaila, yep, HK heard it. The plot was intresting enough, but I think their should be better voice overs and less talking on Telos. I don't want to go too far into the plot, but heres a qustion before I leave. People and magazines hyped Darth Nithilus way too much and gave him a micro sized part in the game, why? Peace Out Shorties 1 stars (a disaterous hole in gaming) - WARNING:THIS GAME IS INCOMPLETE AND WILL LEAVE GAMERS FRUSTRATED AND BORED OUT OF THEIR RESPECTIVE WITS! That would be a good warning that Lucasarts could have slapped on the back of KOTOR2. This half-baked yet full priced game is a complete catastophe! So here is a joke. Neverwinter Nights- Hordes of the Underdark Expansion Pack

4 stars (Can't Play the Game...) - The game is not working on my pc. It keeps restarting my pc. My cousin is having the same problem. We have the same pc and it isn't working... However, I have seen the game and it looks quite fun to play. I only wish I could play it on my pc... 5 stars (Individual D&D...) - I've never been keen on the local D&D groups, as some, not all, of the people are a little odd. But I love the game setup. The Neverwinter Nights series has been really good and my husband and I love to play the games. At times I prefer the older style of Baldur's Gate, but the 3D style of Neverwinter does allow for more visual detail even if the controls are a bit confusing at times. The game itself keeps with the series and I hope they put out more like this. 4 stars (The Battle goes on) - I really enjoy this RPG game due to the different directions one can go through to differnt endings of the game. Some is hard and some very easy but always enjoyable. If you have the first two editions of Neverwinter you find yourself continuing on with the tales of the enchanted world. It's a great game and any D & D Player would get lost in this magical world. ...

5 stars (great GAME!) - THIS GAME IS VERY GOOD BUT ONCE YOU PLAY IT THE 100 TIME IT GETS KINDA BORING.I PLAY THIS GAME ON 2 COMPUTERS.MY LAPTOP WICH DOSENT MEET REQUIMENTS BUT STILL WORKS.IT SEEMS TO RUN ALMOST EVERY THING I PUT ON IT EVEN RUNS DOS.ITS BRAND NEW MADE IN 2005!but my destop greatly surpasses the requiments.its 5 years old it runs everything eceapt the older games 1990s under but thats normal.We just got a new G card in our computer because the last one got fried it has the same power but more memory.Overall play this on a fast computer it dosent work good on slow computers. 5 stars (Wow! This game falls into the category of an action role playing game since you are able to move around in combat rather than just standing and exchanging hits. In this game you can create what character that you want to be. This was the RPG for the X-Box that you decided your own fate. Like any other RPG you pick up characters and weapons/items along your journey. Along the way you'll have questions answered that takes this game for a wild turn. In other words, this story line is one of the best for any Role playing game in quite a while. This game is so much fun that words cannot describe. My only complaint of this game was the controls. But like any other game, the more you play the more you get used to. This game is worth the purchase. Neverwinter Nights Platinum

5 stars (great D&D based RPG) - Neverwinter nights platinum is a great RPG for those who have either played D&D (dungeons and dragons) or for those who have a taste for story and character development. you play as a hero or villian of a selected class, race and alignment. all of these options have impact on character development, storyline, and the ability to interact with NPCs. The sound FX and music is very good with people shouting in the background, screams in the dungeons, and outstanding dialogue. You can manipulate the camera by zooming in and out very far or close and adjust the angle at which you view your character. combat is not a strong factor for this game but is exciting. you can move your character by clicking the mouse or "driving" the character with car like controls. graphics are also a plus. colorful, detailed, and full of NPCs. i highly recommend this to any fan of D&D or to any avid RPG fan 5 stars (I never guessed I'd be playing D&D on the PC!) - After being a die-hard 'pencil & dice' D&D player/DM since first edition rules, I didn't think I'd ever find a game that would emulate the D&D experience to me with all the possibilities of a game that you and your friends created in your own minds. Neverwinter Nights- Hordes of the Underdark Expansion Pack Mac

4 stars (You cannot miss this!) - Hordes of the Underdark takes you on a long beautifull journey; it is the Bioware game you always wanted, while The Shadows of Undrentide could be for some somehow a disappointment, with this game you do not take that risk . In quality, it's up there with classics like the Baldur's Gate and Diablo games. Nice Prestige Classes and the ability to advance to "Epic" levels, nice in game items. There is a good Mac community on the Bioware site, a lot of modules made by players and Bioware, guarantees you tons of hours of playing. A must have in my opinion. Remember this is an expansion. 4 stars (I liked the Udrentide better but still a great expansion.) - I like The Shadows of Undrentide better than this expansion but this one still has a lot to offer. You go the through about 4 different levels of Underdark fighting hoardes of new enemys. You can level up to level 40 which is great (undrentide is 20). This is a great expansion pack. Again the only problem is if u played NWN on a less powerful computer, the system requirements are:Macintosh computer running OSX v10.2.8 or higher, 800MHz G4 or faster processor (1.2GHz or faster recommended), 256MB RAM, 32MB or higher (NVIDIA GeForce 2/ATI Radeon recommended) video card, 1.2GB free hard drive space, 8X CD-ROM drive, local area network, with TCP/IP protocol or established internet connection for multiplayer (56 Kbps modem or faster required). So if you meet those requirements and own NWNs buy this expansion. Also purchase The Shadows of Undrentide as well. 5 stars (Finally, the single-player NWN experience is realized) - This is the Bioware game we all were waiting for. In quality, it's up there with their classics like the Baldur's Gate games. Neverwinter Nights Mac

3 stars (Great story, graphics, and sound. Subpar control & gameplay.) - I recently bought a Mac and have decided to try computer gaming. I've been playing console games since NES, and have used computers for music and work, but I never mixed the two. The first game I bought was Neverwinter Nights as I love console RPGs and Action/RPGs. This is a cool game, with great graphics, but the gameplay is rather restrictive if your a console gamer. I am trying to stick with this game, as I like the story and enjoy the general look and atmosphere of the game, but this is nothing like any console RPGs that I've played. You don't control your character directly the way I am used to with console games. I feel more like your character is an NPC and your sort of give him suggestions. There exists a layer of abstraction between you and your character, so you don't feel as though he is your onscreen representation (as you would with a Zelda or FF game) but rather a separate entity that you direct (another way to put this is, in a Zelda game for example, I would say "I'm trying to hit this enemy" or "I just ran across that bridge", In Neverwinter I'm more likely to say "I'm trying to get him to move" or "I want to get him to the other side of town"). You control your character by pointing him in the direction you want him to go with your mouse, he decides the path he takes and his exact movements himself. You click on enemies to attack them, but he doesn't attack when you click, but rather when he's good and ready, resulting in many an untimely death. Combat feels very forced and unruly - it's this element of the game that comes very close to ruining the whole experience. I'm progressing at a snail's pace, and will abandon this game if it doesn't become more fun in the near future.
