WarCraft III- Reign of Chaos

3 stars (Amazing... but I'd rather have a game more like Starcraft.) - In a few ways Warcraft 3 is good, but I prefer more of a Starcraft type game. WC3 has better graphics by far, more strategy, and definetly much harder because of the addition of heroes. Obviously WC3 has better graphics. It was released after Starcraft and produced by the same company, better graphics are expected. The games cinematic movies are amazing, the characters come to life through the lines and lines of programming. Even the graphics in the normal game play are quite good compared to any other game. You can see distinct features on each of the character models, and they are pretty impressive. The graphics are great but they dont *make* the game. The game requires much more strategy, and this is its downfall. While Starcraft was easy to learn and easy to play WC3 requires so much attention and multi-tasking it is sickening. In SC you could beat down one and sometimes two people easily just by massing the basic unit and upgrading them. In this game, you've gotta get all the units because they benefit eachother, you need buffers, healers, damage dealers, everything! If you don't have one type of unit, and the enemy does you've got no chance and are going to be decimated. He'll walk all over you and since it takes so long to build an army after he destroys you on the battlefield he'll walk right into your base and "game over." Starcraft is much more easy-going when it comes to units. Having a specific type of unit such as a defiler to cast plague, or a high templar to cast psi storm can help immensely but its not absolutely necessary to have your victory. Not to mention if your armies are destroyed out in the map you can see what units the enemy has. By the time he gets to your base you could have a whole new army and in turn whipe out his forces. Heroes in the game are, I admit, a cool feature. They give you a sense of power, and even look cool! The thing is they are actually much too...

Tom Clancy-s Splinter Cell- Chaos Theory

1 stars (Why Ubisoft? Why?) - Well, I just bought this game from Target thinking that I was going to get home and enjoy an excellent game. Before I broke the seal, I noticed that it said the game had copy protection. Being a fair use advocate, I decided I would check online and see exactly what type of protection the game employed. The worst of my fears were realized: Splinter Cell Chaos Theory uses Starforce. Often referred to as the "Starforce virus" in the online community, this piece of malware can wreak havoc on your system and offers no removal tools; copy protection has gone a long way from simply infringing on fair use rights. Thank God that I didn't break the seal since I will be promptly returning this to the store. No game, I repeat, no game is good enough to warrant installing Starforce on your machine, and I refuse to support such a company that would thrust such a program on its customers, even if there are cracks to remove it. Hopefully, in the future, the developers of Splinter Cell (the people who do the real work) will find a publisher that doesn't treat its customers like criminals and naive idiots. Good luck! 4 stars (Fun game, however I won't purchase it...) - *Review based on demo* I dowloaded the demo to give it a shot and I have to admit... it was a great game. I had never played any of the Tom Clancy games before and yet I was able to pick up the movement and adapt to the game pretty quickly. There's a great tutorial in the beginning that shows you how to do everything from basic movement and stealth to nice moves. The only problem is the copy protection software they use to protect the game ...

Yu-Gi-Oh Power of Chaos- Joey the Passion

5 stars (this rocks!@!!!!!!!!!) - okay, lets get started. this game is for veteran players (i recommend) cuz joey is very cunning and tends to go for flashy moves, and uses brute strength too with a very nice combination of magic and trap cards. he also may be very annoyin sometimes. i liked this game cuz it was a grea t improvement over yugi the destiny ( which i have and think its too easy to beat) and kaiba the revenge ( which was too hard for beginers and had WAY too many complicated cards) i'm a pretty decent duellist myself too. some combos to look out for: summoner of illusions effect: summon a fusion card on the field and at the end of the turn, destroy the fusion card. activates by sacrificin summoner of illusions. he really got me with that one. it's hard to counter and it's surprisin to see blue-eyes ultimate dragon attackin u. 5 stars (BIG improvement over Yugi the Destiny) - So Konami did OK with Yugi, but left room for a lot of improvement. They did better with Kaiba, but still had some things to work out. Would the third time be the charm with Joey, and see them produce an excellent game? The short answer: an emphatic YES. For starters, Joey has over 700 cards you can access, including all the ones from Yugi and Kaiba. You don't have to do anything to access cards already won on the two previous games, the program automatically gives them to you. Joey also contains a "level stars" system that allows you to track your skill level, and Joey alters his deck and his playing abilities to match yours. Even better, you can LOSE levels with losses, so there's always incentive to win enough times just to stay where you are! For fans of the cartoon series, Joey plays with a variety of decks as featured in various episodes: Escaroba's "Jinzo" deck, evil Bakura's "Spirit Board" deck, Weebil Underwood's "Insect Queen" deck, the "Revival Jam" deck used by the Marek slave that had "Slyther, the Sky Dragon" (though no Slyther is in it), etc. (I've not got...

5 stars (Sink Reflections Reinforces the Website) - I am a big FlyLady fan and I subscribe to the website. I find the website really motivates me because of all those daily e-mails. The book is handy when you don't have time to get on the web and also if you like things in printed form like I do. Those emails can be overwhelming sometimes and that's when I turn to the book. The system is fabulous--baby steps towards getting your home and your life organized. The book is a condensed version of the website. You can really get all you need from the site, so if you are an avid internet user, you really don't need the book. I like it anyway. 5 stars (FlyLady Gave Me a PEACEFUL Home!) - I suppose I don't fall into the sterotypical FlyBaby category. My husband & I don't have any children. I spend most of my week in the office, shuttling from one meeting to the next. I am not a stay at home wife or mother. Yet, although FlyLady's tips and routines may seem obvious to some, they weren't obvious to ME. I am not depressed. I am a very confident, intellegent, successful professional.
