Pleasure Cruise

5 stars ( Pleasure Cruise ) - This book was very good, I enjoyed the the by play between the two friends. It made them appear very real. This book is a keeper. 5 stars (Hot and fun, a great read!) - The supernatural races are in danger of dying out as they refuse to mates for all eternity from their own, so the 'powers that be' have arranged for a few paths to cross, with the aid of a singles cruise! Clare is a workaholic and her friend Kira has bought them cruise tickets to relax and have a little fun. However it's only when they get to their rooms and find that they are already occupied by two very sexy men (a werewolf for clare and a vampire for Kira) that their fun and the rest of their lives begin. Although this book is written by Pillow and Roth it is one continuous seamless story rather than two separate stories as previous collaborations have been, and it works very well. There is no pull towards one character rather than another and there is no voice louder than another. I look forward to future Pleasure titles "Pleasure Air" and "Pleasure Island" hinted at in the prologue and would wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone. Both writers are at their sizzling best Buy it now! 5 stars (Definitely a fun-filled cruise!) - If you don't have time to get out on vacation, then read Pleasure Cruise for an entertaining and stimulating break! 2 stars (I feel slightly cheated!) - My major complaint with this "book" ist not the story but the lenght. I had expected more than some mere 45 pages, which were barely enough to develop either the characters or the plot. The story had sounded so promising to me and I am sure, I would have thoroughly enjoyed it, had the author turned it into a full-lenght novel. 4 stars (Not Her Best Work) - While I personally think that Angela Knight could write a phone book & make it sexy, I wasn't that thrilled with this latest work. Mercenaries is a compilation of three related short stories that center around members of the mercenery starship Starrunner. The first story features Capt. Nathan August & his whirlwind love affair with religious planet cult member, Trinity Yeager. Trin is willing to to do anything to get off the zealots colony - including taking the captain up on his drunken bargain of passage in exchange for a night with both himself and Sebastion, his first officer, at the same time. Quickly following is Sebastions story of falling head over heals for a dominant/submissive princess while the Starrunners merceneries are on a rescue mission.He's there bait, their spy to get into the palace. But can he handle being a submissive? Or does his captor really want to be captivated? Lastly is the story of a female mercenery from Starrunner who made a cameo appearance in the first short story. During an interplanetary war where merceneries have been hired on both sides, Cassidy is embattled in a deadly dogfight against an opposing mercenery warrior. In a last ditch effort at survival she ditches onto a lonely planet only to be followed by her pursuer. When Rune sees that the impressive warrior is a woman he decides that in his culture - where women are scarce- she would make a perfect edition to his future gene pool. All the stories had a spark & related well, but I just couldn't buy the concept that all 3 couples were ready to push their different cultures aside & marry after just 24 hours - 3 weeks. Real life is a little more complicated. But if your just trying to escape from said real life, than I guess kick back and enjoy yourself! 5 stars (Three terrific stories!) - Two of these were previously published as ebooks but have been wonderfully expanded. Echo- Secrets of the Lost Cavern

4 stars (Echo-puzzles etc) - Echo was a fun game with some very inventive puzzles which I really enjoyed. The only real problem that I had with this game was that it was wayyyyyyyyy to short! Enjoy! 4 stars (Hard puzzles) - I really liked this game and liked learning about our ancient history. There was no way I could do the puzzles without the strategy guide. For that reason alone, I dropped the score to 4 stars. 5 stars (Unique Story, Tremendous Fun) - I don't know why someone hasn't thought to make a game around this setting - about 20,000 + years ago before, and still respect what we know about the period. Don't let this scare you. Forget the muscle bound club and kill stuff. Although several of the puzzles are variations on puzzles I've met in several other games, here they are totally in sinc with the story line and tremendous fun. Others are new to me, challenging, and still totally appropriate to the story line. The graphics are extremely good, and in some places - especially good. I really felt like I'd been transported back to that world of our own earliest direct ancestors - the people who did those cave paintings. Not Neaderthal, by the way. The characters' interaction with their world of that time (end of last Ice Age) was neither grating, nor silly. It IS true that the plot isn't all that unusual from the other games I've played, but the way it was done here, given what I've already said, made it totally fresh and TREMENDOUS FUN! There are games that I HAVE played that I enjoyed just as much - for different reasons - but few I've enjoyed more. (Warning: I AM a terminal Syberia fan.) Even the acting was OK! All in all, I couldn't recommend it more highly. Even the price is reasonable! It wasn't difficult giving ECHO 5 stars in BOTH categories. ...

The Empress- New Clothes

5 stars (New clothes? How about no clothes?) - Ahhhheemmm. Cough, cough (fanning blushing face as we read). Let's see, how to start. Well, first of all, everyone should keep in mind that this is a one hundred percent complete fantasy. It's about a totally new culture and race of people. I think Jaid Black did a superb job of creating another world. Even with all the sex in this book (and I mean A LOT of sex), the author still manages to develop her characters sufficiently enough to make a reader happy. At least, happy enough with this type of genre, which is, of course, erotica. That said, I absolutely hated the High King, Zor! Before I get too ahead of myself, I'll summarize. Kyra, our main gal, is on a retreat on good 'ole present day earth with her best pal, Geris. She's trying to find inner peace after her sister has been missing for a year. At the end of their retreat, the woman are more than up for a little letting loose, but as they prepare to leave, they spy two too-good-to-be-true gorgeous men ogling them. Without further ado, Kyra's clothes are literally ripped (yes, as ridiculous as it sounds, ripped) from her body as the dark haired man roars towards her. That dark haired man is our main guy, the High King of the Trek Mi Q'an Galaxy (try saying that six times fast), a.k.a Zor. This guy, Zor, is a totallly domineering larger than life, at times Neanderthal-like hunk of a speciman. In fact, all the men from his seventh dimension are. He has claimed, and kidnapped, Kyra to be his High Queen and Empress. Not only is she only allowed to wear these ridiculous sheer outfits in public, but she has to be completely naked whenever in her unasked-for husband's presence. Did I mention all the sex before too? Yes? Okay. Keep in mind it's a manditory part of the culture in the book(My, my, aren't we lucky little readers). This book is dedicated to exploring their relationship as it develops from one of difficulty to one of... well, read it for yourself. I'm not spoil...
