4 stars (Great game, but be sure on what you're looking for.) - This is a great game, very fun, but make sure this is what you are looking for. This is not some sort of action, adventure, or RPG game. This is a strategy. My review won't go into detail, you can read tons of detail from other reviews, but I wanted to make sure you all know, this is a strategy game, don't buy it thinking it is anything other than that. 4 stars ( Port Royale 2 ) - I downloaded the demo version and liked it so I ordered the game. I opened it and tried to load it onto my computer. Wouldn't do it. Tried another computer, still wouldn't do it. I then tried my wifes computer and it downloaded. Tried to play it and it crashed. I went to the website and found I wasn't the only one having a problem, the answers were evidently in the video card. I gave it to my son. He downloaded it on his homebuilt computer and it works. question 1 and 2 are his feelings about the game. He thanks me for buying the game for him. Advice, make sure you have everything the system requirements ask for before you buy the game. I thought that since the demo worked so well that the full game would also, wrong. 4 stars (Good Game) - I am a pirate simulation guy. I played Pirates, Pirates Gold, Pirates 2004, Sea Dogs, Pirates of the Caribbean, Port Royale and High Seas. No game has the trading down like Port Royale 2 . It is the best trade simulation game available, bar none. With that said, the piracy part of the game is very difficult. You cannot operate at all without a Letter of Marque. If you attack a country's ships without a letter everyone pretty much hates you and you cannot trade any more. The game for you is basically over. You need to trade (which means you probably need to be friendly with 2 countries). Although you can buy your reputation back to neutral or just wait long enough for your reputation to get better. 2 stars (World at War is not for the "DIE HARD" wargamer) - I have been wargaming for over 30 years. I do not care for this game as there is no diplomatic abilities what-so-ever. There is no way to persuade Spain to join the Axis. Yugoslavia signed the Tri-partite treaty and became a member of the Axis, even if only for a short time due to a British led Coup d' Tat. Turkey massed 3 million men on the Russian border waiting for Germany to win at Stalingrad. so they could join the Axis by declaring war on Russia. The game is very complex, not realistic and to stiff to play. As a member of the Europa Association in the early 90's and the flexibility and freedom that a board game gives you. This is not for a person that wants flexibility and the ability to change history. I was expecting to much from this PC game. If you want flexibility and the opportunity to change history, do not buy this game because it is not there. you can be the Germans and lose every time...you can be the Japanese and fair worse than they did in real life. If you only ever want to be the Allied powers then this is the game for you because you can destroy the Axis each and everytime. This game was a waste of money. if it is Axis and Allies you want then buy it and save the money for something more worth while 5 stars (A Great Strategic Game) - After reading all the reviews you get the feeling this is a love it or hate it game, but that isn't the whole story. Yes there is a 120 page manual that comes with the game, but there are also two tutorials that show you how to move and how production works. Once you have learned these two you can begin to play without reading the entire manual. If you have some experience playing computer war games you will find learning to play this one intuitive after a few trys. Production is not unchangeable at the begining of the game. You adjust production each turn. In fact you are prompted in the tips section for the Germans to disband the carrier fleet ...

My Ring Tone Studio - Convert Music Files to Ringtones

5 stars (WOW!) - Talk about money well spent! Yeah, you put out 20 bucks to begin with, but you can make ringtones exactly how YOU want them and save money overall ($2.50 a pop from Cingular usually). Also, no big deal if you need to temporarily delete tones from your phone (like Christmas tunes). Just resend rather than paying another $2.50 to phone company. Only thing that would have made this slightly better would be if you could send tones by USB cable to save on data usage during send. Overall, a great buy! 5 stars (this software is really amazing) - In Honduras I couldn`t have possibilities to use this software, because our phonecell company doesn`t have any comunication with ATT that is the manufacturer of the Motorola v600, the phone model I got, but If you have a USB cable and the software of this cellphone and then add the ring tone studio software, YOU GOT THE SOLUTION AND THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT FACTS, YOU CAN CREATE RINGTONES FROM YOUR OWN MUSIC CD'S AND YOU DON'T NEED INTERNET EVEN. Lavasoft Ad-Aware Plus Edition

1 stars (adaware) - slowed a new system down too much when running in backgroud. Went back to free verison. 1 stars (Gouge you coming and going.) - The updates are frequent and expensive. Good program, but it's not worth the trouble and expense of upgrading. 4 stars (Good Product, But The Upgrade Should Have More) - For more than a year now, I have been using Ad-Aware. I love it. The program scans for spyware, adware, hijackers, keyloggers, and common trojans (but Norton is the one that takes out the trojans). So far, I am happy with this product. Even though I have never had anything bad on my computer (just cookies...mmm, cookies), my friend sure has had his share with MiniBug, Axela, eZula, FunWebProducts, and some others, and Ad-Aware completely removes it. And it does it all for free (yes, you can get the personal version free at Lavasoft's website). So what's something that Ad-Aware Personal doesn't do? Real-time. You'll notice on the personal version that if you click on Ad-Watch to enable Real-Time, it will state "Realtime protection not avaliable in the personal edition.". So, I checked out the plus edition. So, I did a test on an old computer, and installed eZula. That's right, it didn't go through. Right when it reached, an Ad-Aware pop-up stated "eZula was found at C:/(whatever). Would you like to remove?". Wow! Amazing! One thing that is doesn't do is block most pop-ups. This is dissappointing, mainly because competetors like SuperAdBlocker/SuperAntiSpyware has a great pop-up blocker along with everything Ad-Aware has. But, SuperAdBlocker doesn't have real-time, and Ad-Aware does. I'd recommend getting both. For now, if the computer is in a school, hotel, or airport of such, getting the plus edition wouldn't be a bad idea. But if you just use it for home, just keep the free personal edition. There aren't that many spyware programs that do things virus do, but I HAVE SEEN SOME that restart computers and add odd programs, such things trojans do. Thou...
