I recommend this book to anyone who is tired of the negativity, pessimism and other things happening that have brought you down. Secrets - Mysteries of the World

3 stars (Book about everything) - Looks interesting. I will change my rating, when i get to read it. 3 stars (Fun Read However Light in Research and did Aliens Really Build It All?) - I picked up this title because, well, I was intrigued by the title. I am what you call a seeker and a knowledge whore, so I picked this up hoping that it would shed some light on the mysteries of the world. I was indeed pleased with the read, however for me it read as a noval and not really a non-fiction book as it claims to be. Browne is a fascinating person and I have enjoyed some of her work, but I have a hard time with the whole belief by some in the psychic-new age community that if something cant be explained,ie stonehenge, the pyramids, etc... that well aliens must have done it, that is a very big reach to me and I have a hard time with that logic, if you can call it that. There was without a doubt a intellegance on this planet that for whatever reason was lost, and as a whole I can believe that egyptions etc... had access to a line of thought that we in a computerized society can't comprehend. This is afun read if you are looking for a light easy to read thesis by one person on the so called mysteries of the world, but not one that i can sink my teeth into. 5 stars (Really Gets You Thinking!) - Wow. This book really gets you thinking. It is a great read and opens a lot of doors for you to want to explore and research more on your own. I never heard of a "tulpa" or Lemuria but I was instantly fascinated by the information in the book from Sylvia's psychic perspective. Out of all the Sylvia Browne books I have read this one by far is the most hands on. Read with an open mind and research the information for yourself I am sure whatever you discover will be interesting and open your eyes to a world of new things and even raise more questions. The Power of Intention

5 stars (really meaningful book) - I absolutely loved this book. It was meaningful and really tied together for me many of the disparate ideas of religion and metaphysics. Accessible and a keeper. 3 stars (Read God Without Religion Instead) - I don't know, folks. Dyer certainly had a lot of good intentions in writing this book, and his love of people shines through. I can't even say I disagree with anything he says implicitely. The problem is first that nothing he says is new. He creates new words to describe old things, but no new concepts or new thoughts or ideas in the mind of the reader. And creating a new lexicon is not what the world needs today. Also, his methods, on both a practical and theoretical level, of affirmation are not as scientific as other methods presented by other authors. This leads me to why I suggest reading God Without Religion instead. All of the Power of Intention, vastly improved, can fit in one section of one chapter of God Without Religion. It is the greatest book not only on spirituality, but human existence that I, and many others I am meeting, have ever read. It has what so many books, including Dyer's, lacks: new knowledge. Read it and find out for yourself. It will take you places you've never been. And on the subject of affirmation, which God Without Religion presents in the broader context of world religions, miracles and politics, and the human mind and the way the cosmos works, while Dyer advises us to "intend" things for our future, God Without Religion undermines the idea of division of time, pointing out that affirmations work best when they are admitted to be about the present. Instead of simply promoting positive thinking, you are shown how to affirm here and now whatever you think you are only going to get in the future, regardless of any sensory evidence to the contrary that your affirmation is not actualized. In other words, you will never "get better" or "be successful." You are successful and well now, or never....

5 stars (Ask and it is Given) - Received the book in record time and in great shape 5 stars (Truth comes in many different packages) - I say thank you to the non-physical entities that came through Esther Hicks. This book has changed my life. 5 stars (Human Being's Users Manual) - This is not a religious book, - it a technical manual, the Human Being's Users Manual that was supposed to come with us when we were born. It explains how we get, what we get in life, and how to change it. This book should be taught in schools to all our children. Since reading it, I have allowed myself to experience joy, over and over again. And I know how to get it back if it slips away. 5 stars (Great book) - THis is a wonderful book to help you deal with the stress life can throw at you. Follow the simple yet effective guidelines and feel more empowered. I share my copy with many people and they all agree. 5 stars (Beautiful truth) - I thoroughly love this book. Briefly, The Four Agreements are: 1. Be impecable with your word. 2. Don't take anything personally. 3. Don't make assumptions. 4. Always do your best. This is such a moving book because it is the real truth. You will 'feel' that as you read. Don Miguel Ruiz explains that we (humans) have become mired in others 'black magic',others 'mitote.' That we have been domesticated by others from birth. We have choosen to believe what we have been programed to believe .... that we are imperfect, we are bad, that we are seperate, etc. He explains that we can create a Heaven on Earth by reclaiming ourselves, our happiness, that is our birth right, by not believing all the lies we've been given. I don't want to give too much of this book away because it is so wonderful. The words of an incredibly wise Shaman. With each reading, the meaning becomes greater. If everyone read this book, the world would be tremendously better off. 4 stars (Practical Spirituality) - Miguel Ruiz has an alluring introduction that mixes myths, with ancient mexican wisdom. After the enchantment of the introduction the core of the book becomes totally practical, step by step his words made me make my own commitment. To remember the main facts After I read it I wrote on my mirror: 1. Be irreproachable with my words, no more bad thoughts and gossips towards others I thought " My life is so interesting (and if its not I'll make it interesting) that I don't want to waste my time in others businesses" 2. 5 stars (The Best) - From my experience I would sincerely say that this is not only the best book ever written about "A Course in Miracles" but one of the best spiritual books EVER written. This is because it does the seemingly impossible. It makes the heretofore arcane "A Course in Miracles" completely understandable to both the novice and the experienced student by bringing it into the vernacular. What was confusing before is now crystal clear. Writers have been trying to do that for 30 years, but this book is the first to really succeed. Second, it is of great value to those who aren't interested in A Course in Miracles by setting the record straight about Jesus, who never intended to start a religion, and making universal spiritual truths more clear for everyone. The Disappearance of the Universe talks the way that people really talk, and in doing so brings everyone a message that can't be missed - if you're ready for it. 1 stars (Should be called the "Book of Lies and Deceptions") - Arten pg. 55: "What if you don't try to convince people to believe anything? Start writing it like it's just a story - as though you made it up. Then tell people they made you up. It's all made up. That's the point, my brother." Got through 100 pages before I decided not to waste any more of my time. This book is full of contradictions, the writing is crude, the authors attitude towards heavenly messengers is ridiculous. How many people on earth if they TRULY had heavenly messengers pop out of thin air would talk to them as crudely as Gary does. Gary's belief that he's witty and humorous is the illusion. After 100 pages I was still waiting to find something NEW and enlightening. Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats

5 stars (The Great Resource) - This book is the best and most easy to read for up to date holistic treatments for your pet. I own a lot of animal books, and this one is a keeper!! 4 stars (A great starting point) - Having known relativley little on the subject of raw natural diets, I found this book to be an excellent starting point. It is easy to read, consise, to the point, and is very encouraging for the novice. It has a sample monthly menu which I found invaluable when changing my dogs over to the nautral diet. I have since read many books on the subject but I refer back to this book the most. I would have liked more specific information regarding feeding puppies and their specific growing needs. 3 stars (Too basic, even for a beginner) - I was new to RAW feeding prior to buying this book. I had done some research and reading on the Internet and already understood the concept of RAW feeding - the core food groups and the recommended proportions of each. However, I needed a book that would help me make the transition from just reading to actually preparing the meals for my pets. This book did not do it for me. It is more of a very basic "theory" book than a "practical" one. I bought the book online - if I had had a chance to flip through it first, I would have gone with another book. This book pretty much just explains what the food groups are, how they contribute to the health of your pets and the respective pros and cons. But, like I said, you can get this information for FREE on the Internet! Schultze only gives ONE easy recipe for BOTH dogs and cats, with varying amounts of ingredients depending on the weight of your pet. After joining a few RAW feeding discussion lists, I was told that most of the things I read in the book are NOT recommended by fellow raw feeders (eg: feeding GROUND meat, veggies, kelp & alfalfa supplements and BOTH cod-liver oil and fish oil, etc.) Even I knew going in that you can't use the same recipe for both dogs and cats and yet Schu...

Power vs Force- The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior

4 stars (Consciousness Raising) - I have purchased Dr. Hawkins' complete trilogy, this being the first. I am almost done with it. It has verified what I have always felt, that we are all connected. I love that the body "knows" the truth even when the mind doesn't! This proves it scientifically. I was treated by a physician using kinesiology many years ago. It was a pleasant surprise to see the far reaching uses that it can be used for. Wonderful. I cannot wait to read the next 2 in the series. 5 stars (Outstanding.) - I came to reading this book in a most peculiar way. I bought a book for my daughter's 10th birthday titled "Why Some Cats Are Rascals". I did it because of the appealing cover, but my daughter was so impressed with the story that I had to read it too. I also liked it and I went to Amazon to write my review to encourage every responsible mother to buy it too. Why reading other reviews of the book I learned that the author of this children's story was inspired by "Power vs. Force". This made me by THIS book. -- I am so glad I did it. It is the best book of this kind I have ever read. Very enlightening and... POWERFUL. No wonder it can inspire other authors.
