1 stars (?) - Nintendo why have you made 7 mario party games. This is dumb ok if you want a "party" game play the first 6.........6! do you want your great great great great grand kids to be playing mario party 500 on the game triangle? they want you do buy stuff for the gamecube so that youll buy more stuff for the next consul. it is probably fun but i don't recomend 5 stars (Whatever will they think of next?) - When Mario Party 1 came out, evryone knew that Nintendo was going to take a huge leap in the world of multiplayer action. The sequel came out quickly and the game soon attracted peoples attention. But with the sports section being filled up, Mario Party was taking a bad turn. After a while, Mario Party 3 came out and the games began to fly off the shelves once more. When the Gamecube arrived, Mario Party 4 came right after it came out. 5 and 6 completely revoulutionized the gaming industry with the return of the microphone. But it would take some time before Mario Party reached the top of the gaming industry. Soon more company's started to take over Nintendo and it looked like the company would implode. Gamecube - Lego Star Wars

4 stars (A good GameCube port of a surprisingly-fun game) - This GameCube version of Lego Star Wars was released a full six months after the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of the game, an odd decision considering the frequently-assumed target audiences of the different consoles. Even so, this delayed port is nevertheless a very solid one, and gamers who have Cubes can pick this one up knowing it looks and plays just as well on this console as it does on the others. Lego Star Wars is a game that is forgiving enough that children will enjoy it (i.e. a character who gets "killed" is simply resurrected nearby). At the same time, also has a few challenges that will give adults a share of fun. The game features a VERY large number of unlockables and extras that can only be completed by collecting certain items and collecting large enough numbers of the game's currency (known as bits). Some of the levels are not terribly difficult to beat - but can be challenging to beat with sufficient numbers of bits, some of which are lost when a character dies. Of note, Lego Star Wars also has an easy-to-use cooperative feature, which is a great deal of fun regardless of the age of the people you are playing with. The presentation of this game is outstanding. The graphics are beautiful and glossy and portray the "Lego" and the "Star Wars" both wonderfully. The cutscenes are funny and capture well the storyline of the first three episodes even though there is no voicework to speak of. John Williams soundtrack is here and the game even has the appropriate tracks for each level. Hearing that trademark "Darth Maul" anthem during the duel with the Sith is a real treat. There are only a few drawbacks to the game. One, it's a bit on the short side - an adult could probably plow through the entire campaign in 6-8 hours. Super Mario Sunshine

5 stars (Is it For Kids?) - Yes it is for kids .. and adults. THis is a great game for everyone. There is tons of fun and colorful action. The best part is it is always creative. Other companies learning to make a platformer play this game and take notes. Your games do not have the creative juices flowing through it nearly as much as the big Plumber. Bottom Line: Is it fun? Gamecube - FIFA Soccer 2006

4 stars (Getting MUCH Closer) - After reading the reviews on this site, I decided to buy Fifa '06 for Gamecube. I'm very glad I did. While still not at the highest level it could be, I do feel there are enough improvements to justify the upgrade from '05 (and I liked '05). IMPROVEMENTS: 1) Ball handling is totally different. Many more dribbling opportunities... it's actually possible for a midfielder to get around a defender now. 2) Passing is also completely modified. Rather than passing or crossing to a player, you pass or cross to an area of the field. Sounds negative at first, but it makes things so much more realistic. Rather than having to remember some button combo to get the ball to behave how you want it, if you want to chip a ball in the box, just aim and try to get the right pressure on the button. In the old system, I'd often aim at a teammate and the computer would think I was aiming somewhere else. Now I feel I can aim the ball with greater accuracy. 3) They changed the announcers, which is reason enough to buy the upgrade! 4) Manager mode and the player creation center are both vast improvements over previous versions of Fifa. 5) Corner kicks, substitutions and throw-ins are much improved. 6) The computer is MUCH more intelligent. It used to just run down into the corners and cross the ball in the box, so once you figured out the patterns, the computer would no longer be a challenge. Now it will string passes together and try to go down the middle occasionally. The computer now also acquires cards and makes substitutions (previously you'd be the only team making subs and getting carded). 7) There's actually documentation for game features and little symbols used throughout the game! Not only is the manual a bit more in depth, but there are also places you can go in the game to learn how to play and what everything means. SpongeBob SquarePants- The Battle for Bikini Bottom

5 stars (Challenging and loads o fun!!) - I recently bought this vidoe game. Although i'm a teen, i absolutely love it!! it' challenging, fun and addictive. it's not too hard foryounger kids, but parents will struggle too! i recommend that you buy this, it's great, clean fun and Spongebob is soo cute! 1 stars (I do not recomend at all) - My children had been playing with Mario's World and the Incredibles for over 3 months. We bought this game given the good reviews but after 1 day I am very disappointed. My kids have been for over 4 hours in level two, collecting points little by litte repeting the same routines ... they who love gamecube games, got really bored and turned it off. There are no indications whatsoever about what to do in order to enjoy this game. 5 stars (Unadulterated Fun) - This is the most fun I've had playing a video game since the NES days of Super Mario Brothers. THQ continues to dazzle and amaze me with their stellar attention to graphics, detail and gameplay. The Battle for Bikini Bottom pits Spongebob, Patrick & Sandy against the evil Plankton who has created robots to take over the world. The tasks are achievable and leveled just right for its' targeted age range. But, most of all this game is just plain fun to play. Each character has special moves that enable you to achieve tasks. Being able to switch between characters for different tasks made the game more enjoyable for me. The game is somewhat long but rewarding, as the storyline is funny and entertaining. Overall, the Battle for Bikini Bottom status as a player's choice game (over 1 million copies sold) should cement it's status as a must own for the Nintendo Gamecube platform. Highly Recommended. ...

5 stars (i would call this a winner!) - it is amazing what nickelodeon will do to gain money! this is a winner thought! it has amazing gameplay featuring jimmy, timmy, spongebob, and danny! it is a little like party blast but so much better! you get to collect things to help you and use all of these four guys special abilities to try to win! i did have a hard time beating it and i am still working on it for 4 days now! it takes you places you have seen in the episodes! the graphics are okay! they could of done better though! all in all its a great game for kids/teens/families! 5 stars (excellent) - this toy is great it has all my fav nicktoons (especially danny phantom) it is a great game 1 stars (crappyest game ever) - All right here is the deal. Gamecube - Fire Emblem- Path of Radiance

5 stars (Anyone who hates this game, hasn't played it.) - This game rocks!!! There are so many awesome things, but lets start with characters. There are like 30+ different characters you can earn and unlock. One cool thing is that each character joining is different. Some only join if Ike (the main character) talks to them, some only join if you have someone of the same type to talk to them (mage, archer, knight, etc), or, some just join you after the chapter (level). Each character is different. Some have really good armor, others have awesome attack power some can't be hit, others land critical strikes 70% of the time, etc. In "Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones." you got certain talismans that could upgrade characters but by the end you'd only have half your group upgraded. Not here. This time they evolve right after level 20. The graphics are b-e-au-tiful. The characters are very detailed. Every wrinkle, every frown, every scar is shown. As my mom said "oh my gosh... that sky is so beautiful. *gasp* wow" So yea... i guess the enviornmental graphics are pretty good too. The map designs are very unique and interesting. A couple of fields are wide open, no hiding, no cover, just an all out dog fight. Some maps have rooms or rocks a character can hide in or by. Other maps are very complex and have narrow paths, many obsticals and few doorways. (Perfect for rangers, not so good for knights...) Last thing is the story. Now, i can't give an accurate telling of this story, due to the fact that i'm approximatly only half-way through it. But so far Ike joins his father's buisness- being a mercenary. So Ike and about 5 other mercenaries set off to random spots and assist thoughs who call. Later Ike's father meets up with a mysterious black knight who talks to him as if he knows him. Ike's father does know him, but won't tell us who it is. Also, later in the story, it appears another character was hiding in the woods while Ike's father battled the Black knight. These events ...

GameCube Donkey Konga 2 w-Bongos

5 stars (This is an AWSOME game!!) - This game is great!!!!! I recomend this game to any parent who is buying a gamecube for their kids this holiday season. The game comes with a set of bongos. On the bongos there is of coarse a right and left bongo and suprisingly also a clap sensor. This game is also excellent in teaching your kids how to play the bongos in a way. This game is REALLY fun. I recomend it for children over the age of 6 or 7. 4 stars (not bad, could be even better) - This game is not bad. you beat LEFT, RIGHT, BOTH, CLAP according to the music notes that scroll across the screen. however, for some songs, the beat of the song doesn't match that of the appearing note, even for the simple level. on the difficult level, the notes come out just too fast and you can't even match that to the tempo, not to mention you have to match the LEFT/RIGHT/BOTH/CLAP. can you do 5 or 6 LEFT/RIGHT/BOTH/CLAP within 2, 3 seconds without mistake? to me, maybe that's possible if the notes is memorized... but is this a game about memorization? also, this game could improve by setting a mode that a "star" comes out instead of the LEFT/RIGHT/BOTH/CLAP, and with the star you can do LEFT/RIGHT/BOTH/CLAP and it still count as a "match". that way, it can be simpler and it can work like the taiko drum master on ps2. 4 stars (Simple, yet surprisingly fun.) - I was hesitant to pick this game, since I had played it just a bit before. I bought the Donkey Konga 2 pack, with the bongos. I played it, and loved it. The soundtrack isn't the best (from what I hear, Donkey Konga has a better one), but some of the songs on it are actually quite good. There should be a introduction to the game though, to teach users which color equals what button. I've had a blast with this game, and am still trying to beat some of the tougher Gorilla remixes. I'd recommend this to anyone who has some resemblence of a beat. ...

The Legend of Zelda- The Wind Waker

5 stars (The best Zelda game yet.) - The Legend Of Zelda video game series is one of the best video game series ever.This game is not only fun and has great graphics,but offers so much more to do than just beating the game.There is a huge "ocean" to sail around with so many islands with things to do.There is also many unique characters that all play important roles in the game.This game should be in any video game player's collection,definately. 5 stars (Wind Waker, better then Ocarina of Time? The cartoon effects are actaully very cool when you get used to them.) - This is probably the best Gamecube game out the closest rival to It's greatness has got to be Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. This game is an indirect sequal to Ocarina of Time and the storys are probably just about the same in quality. DUring the game Link starts a rivalry with a giant phoenix that takes his sister to a faraway island when Link finally reaches there aboard this pirate ship he sets out through the foretress on the island to rescue his sister. when he finally finds her the phoenix flings Link far away from his sister and Link must regain his strength and return even stronegr to fight the bird of prey. *Spoiler* Link finally arrives and scales the mighty foretress on his new found boat named "king of Red Lions" after he encounters the bird it's payback time baby! he flips out his newly acquired Skull Hammer and Pummels the bird silly. then for the finnishing blows Link cuts up the bird with his sword like nothing. But it seems there is a greater evil then the phoenix, it seems Ganon is back and your on an even longer escapade! Highly recomended game EXTREMELY good replay value. Ive beaten it 4 times so far because after I beat the game and the second quest my memory card file got deleted and I had to start all over again but amazingly it was still fun and I enjoyed beating it the next plays through the game. Mario Kart- Double Dash--

5 stars (It was the bom dog) - ThIs GaMe WaS tHe OnE.I love how u can get to pick out your own chracters instead of them just picking it for you.Each charecter has different stuff like if you double dash with peach and daisy they throw hearts at the other players to win , yoshi and birdo throw eggs,Ditty kong and donkey kong throw bannah peals which is realy annoying cause it slows me down exept for donkey and ditty kong and theres like so many more charecters but i hate typeing. BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT....To be truthful this is a kids game for like 16 or under otherwise if your older it may be a little to easy but i am 10 and it is so hard to beat star cup.Any ways i hope u read my other report on mario party 6.Oh another thing about this game is the charecter you pick you also get to pick a car also.And if u win one of the races u win a trophy and a new car sometimes and more places to race. 5 stars (A great addition to an excellent Nintendo library) - This is the best Mario Kart game to date. I've played everyone except the one for DS. This is probably the best racing game every too because it is stragety compared to just speed. Anybody can put the pedal to the metal but can you stay ahead when you have no advantage in speed. The best thing about this game is that you can use two characters at once. So one is driving(driver can hold an item also) and the other is throwing the items. That essentially turns the game from an 8 player game to a 16 player game. Chalk this game up on the list of Ultimate Nintendo party games. Whoever on the Nintendo staff thought that idea up should be put in the Nintendo hall of fame beside mario and donkey kong. That is pure genius. Now you can save an item that you may need instead of using it right away. The only catch is though that if you get hit by a shell, lightning, or banana, you drop all you items. 4 stars (Good Overall) - Now before I start, I must state that I haven't played any previous SSX games so I can't compare this one to the others. The best thing I think about SSX: On Tour is the soundtrack, I love Red Flag, God Killed the Queen, Run for the Hills, and one other that I can't remember right now. All around its very good there. The controls are easy to use but may be a bit confusing at first, but I'm a bit slow at those things, you may have a different experience. The character creation is very nice, with the brand name equipment to customize your character with. But the absence of personality from your person is a bad aspect there. I also disagree with the addition of Mario and them in this version of the game. If I wanted to be Mario I would go buy a Mario game. 4 stars (No SSX3, but still great) - I've been an avid fan of the SSX series for quite a while, owning all but the first installment of the series. So naturally when I learned that SSX On Tour was being released I rushed to a store and picked up a copy. The first thing I noticed (other than the catchy, sketch style menus) was that I wouldn't be using my favorite character, Allegra, this time around. Instead you get to create your own character, which was good and bad. The cool side is that you get to customize him or her to your heart's desire, the downside is that they are strangely silent. Your character will not taunt others or cheer when victorious, something you may take for granted in previous SSX games. Upon starting the "On Tour", the main mode of gameplay, I discovered the single greatest dissappointment that this game has: there is no freeriding around the mountain. One of my absolute favorite things about SSX3 was the ability to just cruise around the mountain, which gave the game a much more realistic feeling. Gamecube - Bratz- Rock Angelz

3 stars (Lets start a rock band ! Whatever shall we wear?) - Bratz Rock Angelz has me at an unfortunate disadvantage. It seems I'm not a young female fashionista between the age of four and 14 who might also enjoy becoming an international rock sensation. So I probably shouldn't be the one scurrying about town pretending to live again through the eyes of four hip Angelz on unchecked shopping sprees. But hey, we play the cards life deals us. Though I think life might have just dealt me a therapy session. And here we are! I enjoy Bratz. Rather, I think the people it's intended for will enjoy it. I know. When I see my therapist next we'll discuss how exactly it is I don't mind dressing girls up and taking pictures of bunny rabbits for twelve hours. But then that's just another unfortunate side effect of working the industry and having to admit a game clearly not designed for me is still clearly designed well. But there is that very good chance Bratz Rock Angelz isn't designed for you, either. So watch out. If you're reading IGN you're likely a young male big on killing living things with heavy weapons. If that's true (which it obviously is unless you're seriously abnormal), the "befriend animal" option in Bratz will not appeal to you at all. There's also the t-shirt designing, posing, roller-skating, fashion magazine creating, animal photographing, girl interacting, shopping, makeup wearing, face painting and coin collecting that won't appeal to you. But did you catch all that? Chances are a good bit of it will appeal to someone, eh? Chances are that special girl between the age of four and 14 that isn't the heavy weapons experts we all claim to be will be very happy with her new copy of Bratz Rock Angelz. Bratz features a good amount of play value and a surprisingly well developed and nicely presented game world. Pokemon XD- Gale of Darkness with Custom GameCube Skin

5 stars (Just one word F-U-N!!!) - I am not a Pokemon fan at all. I got this game because it came in a bundlepack with the gamecube. I played it. Yes I a 22 year old played PokemanXD Gale of Darkness and I enjoyed it. It is actually quite addicting and fun. The graphics are great load times really aren't anything at all unlike the PS2 ( really do hate that thing ). There are so many different Pokemon and some actually are fierce looking not some cutesy cartoony wimpy looking pokemon. I really can't see nothing wrong with this game. However voice overs would have been nice. Only one word to describe this game fun. 4 stars (great for anyone) - i am a girl and i hate pokemon! when i went to my cousins house we played his gamecube (which i also have) and he begged me to play his pokemon game! it is so fun! the graphics are beyond good and the pokemons are amazing! first you have to name the guy and no you cant be a girl! and after you get tasks like find your sister and get to unlock other places! the very first thing is a battle you do! and it dosnt matter if you lose(i lost) and than there is this guy you can battle and i won! its so fun even if your a girl but there is way too much talking so limits the time you have to play! i will get one for myself! you wont regret this game! 5 stars (helping kid...) - it's not coming out for the ps2 or gba. don't waste your money on a ps2...better to get a sweet nintendo ds (its crushing the useless overexpensive sony psp (Piece of Shizzzzzt Portable)) or save your money for a xbox 360. the ps2 isn't even that great anyway, it's a dud hardware-wise and it just doesn't have many great exclusive games. if you want to buy just one of the current gen consoles i'd get an xbox hands-down. it's got ninja gaiden, jade empire, knights of the old republic, and halo as well as other great exclusive games. the gamecube has pokemon, paper mario, and tons of other exclusives (like resident evil) that make even it better than the ps2 (and it's ...

Gamecube - The Sims 2

1 stars (Stick with the computer version) - OK. I will be blunt. This version of Sims 2 stinks!!!! It is nothing like the pc version. I was expecting mutli-level homes & such, but no. If you are a fan of the Sims games, invest your hard earned Simoleans on the computer version of this game. If you already bought this game, I am sorry. See if you can sell it online or take it to one of those game stores that buy games back for cash or store credit. GameCube Madden NFL 2006

5 stars (Good Game) - Madden is a great game with incredible graphics. QB precision makes game much more interesting. Whether it is baseball, golf with Tiger Woods, or football, they have kept the ball rolling for years at a time. There is no doubt about the Madden football series. Not only has it maintained being a staple, it has been one of the very few sports games that has remained a constant for years around. The game series has gotten better and better, and kept rolling with the tides since its late 80's PC days. Now it has kept the ball rolling for Gamecube owners alike. Madden NFL 2006 for the Nintendo Gamecube, is one of the very few hottest sports games out right now. The game really goes all out with so many classic plays in football, as you play every team in the NFL lineup like the New York Giants, or the Washington Redskins. The graphics in this game have improved over the last couple of them for the Gamecube in the players and the field, and the control also has gained a little ground. Especially in difficult gameplays. While there really isn't much of a challenge when you're playing by yourself, it really takes a whole lot of fun if you're against somebody else. The way those play by plays are also called quite smoothly, and followed very easily. Arguably, Madden fans will love this game for the Nintendo Gamecube. Madden NFL 2006 does show that the football series still has a lot of stayingpower.
