5 stars (An absolut MUST-READ!) - The LikeAbility philosophy, as Tim cleary explains, is much needed in our world. Tim's research is thorough and has depth. The concept is simple to grasp, yet challenging to implement in our daily lives. His practical advice and exercises are very valuable and easy to follow. Congratulations to an inspiring and excellent book, Tim. 4 stars (A Great Message ) - This kind of message may seem obvious but it is amazing how important it is to be likeable! It's not always easy and I do think it takes practise, especially in business. Often we are so busy to get all the work done that we can forget to take time to really be nice - especially when situations are chaotic. Tim is on the right track and I look forward to his next book. 3 stars (Somewhat Interesting) - Sanders' book is short, and interesting - up to a point. He briefly cites evidence that being likeable (having an interest in others, listening to them, etc.) is linked to good health, improved job retention, overall success, better quality time with a physician, greater liklihood of getting elected, and significantly reduced chance of divorce. Also, "nice" physicians are less likely to be sued, and more likely to win if they are. All useful points. But what about Leo Durocher's "Nice guys finish last" philosophy? I guess that's another book. ...

The OASIS Guide to Asperger Syndrome- Completely Revised and Updated - Advice- Support- Insight- and

5 stars (Aspie's Read This Book First) - I picked this book up when my 7 yr old son was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. I quickly discovered that I'm just as Asperger's as he is. This book has taught me more about Asperger's than my son's school or even his psychologist. If you truly want to understand Asperger's in all of it's flavors you must read this book. I've begun to understand myself in a whole new light and have found this book to be as comforting and reassuring as it is educational. 5 stars (The Asperger "Bible") - Of the several I've read, this book is absolutely the most comprehensive and well written available on the subject of Asperger's Syndrome. Thanks to the foresight and dedication of Barb Kirby in establishing the OASIS website and on-line forum, parents from all over the world are able to come together and compare notes on behavior and strategies, resulting in an enormous knowledge bank to draw from. Along with that, the authors present the combined wisdom of the various "experts" and discuss pros and cons of various treatment options, based primarily on actual experience and outcomes, with plenty of surveys, official statistics, and scientific studies. I had to laugh out loud early on when the authors state that if nothing else, it is an impressive book to plunk down on the table at school meetings! What really makes this book different from any other, is that the authors are both also mothers of kids on the spectrum, so you feel connected and understood while reading the book - truly an OASIS for anyone struggling to understand, respect, protect and champion their Aspie kids! 5 stars (A Must for Families or Professionals working with Aspergers) - This isn't a book, it is a "good deed" (no, make that GREAT deed). The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work

5 stars (Action oriented advice for today's couples) - I found this book to be very helpful and therapeutic. The first chapter is a little challenging to get through but after that I found practical insight into common challenges faced by today's couples as well as excercises and action items to overcome these challenges. There is a lot to read but I found it well worth the time. I would definitely recommend this book for any committed couple regardless of whether or not you have major problems in your relationship. The book sheds light on how to discuss problems in a reasonable fashion and does not put any unreasonable expectations on you to always agree with your spouse. It even acknowledges that individual relationships are likely to have their own set of perpetual problems that will never be solvable but teaches you have to cope with these issues as a couple. 5 stars (The 7 Principles for Making Marriage Work) - An excellent, research based text that offers practical information. It's about real life rather than Hallmark movie portrayals of relationships and offers many ways to work on repairing, rekindling, and maintaining loving feelings in a marriage. It's well presented, clear, easy to read and suited all readers. It ought to be required reading in high school and college so people have more realistic expectations of themselves and their partners. 5 stars (Solid Review on SEC OND Marriage book - Elizabeth and Jameson Thottam) - We bought this as our sec ond book on marriage (since we're still young at heart), and found a nice primer on does and don'ts. It covers a lot good tips on how to relate with eachother and drivers most of its analysis from insider trading tips on successful relationships. 4 stars ( Flood Your Body with Oxygen ) - A great sequel to his first book, giving updated information on research and oxygen products. Explains why reactive oxygen is the cornerstone of health. Oxygen, peroxide and ozone are not patentable, so you won't see any comercials on TV to ask your doctor. Perhaps most revealing is the fact that ozone insuffilations are as effective as intravenous ozone at prurifying the body. With all the craze over trans-dermal applications, I am surprised that he omitted Dr. Kahn's peroxide solution: 1 oz food-grade hydrogen peroxide, 7 oz organic, whole-leaf aloe vera gel, 1 oz DMSO mixed together in a spray bottle and applied topically after showering. 5 stars (Excellent Update to Oxygen Therapies) - Ed McCabe's provides with passion and honesty invaluable information for healing. Execution- The Discipline of Getting Things Done

4 stars (Clear, to the point, relevant examples) - This was a great book on how to integrate the mentality of how to execute into the culture of an organization. It makes it very easy to compare your organization to what is ideal, see how you can change and highlight areas of improvement. Over all a great buy. It could have had more on developing leaders within a corporate setting but for critiquing an organization and learning what it takes to get to the next level it was conprehensive. 5 stars (One of the best business books for the start of this new millenium) - I recommend this book to all executives in SMEs or big corporations. They provide a powerful insight on how to deliver performance in the organization. Idiot - Beating -The Curse- and Enjoying the Game of Life

4 stars (Definitely worth it if your a Johnny Damon fan....) - Im a huge red sox fan, so this book was one I was looking forward to. And I was not disappointed by it. It was writen well considering a baseball player wrote it. (although he did have help) I thought that although it was mostly revolving about Johnny Damon's life, it was very good. Johnny Damon is one of my favotire players and anyone else intersted in learning stuff about him that they don't talk about on the radio or TV, I would highly suggest it. 5 stars (Damon is simply the man!!!!!!!!) - As a huge Sox fan this book was aewsome. In it, he reveals the evryday life as a ballplayer and takes you through the good and bad times. He goes through his career from High School to the Boston Red Sox. He especially reviews the 2003 and 2004 Boston Red Sox seasons. The thing that impressed me the most was the fact he was a loyal teammate. This book defends Derek Lowe and Pedro Martinez. He especially defends former teammate, Nomar Garciaparra. He reveals everyting the media said was ludicrous and they ran away from him so he couldn't defend himself and the media could keep doing what they were doing. He also pretty much says the media ran him out of Boston but prior in the book he reveals the Red Sox owners owned alot of that media.They also have a partnership with Nomar's biggest critics, the Boston Globe(Damon doesnt say that in his book, but it is a fact). He simply loves Boston and the fans so it is a must read for Boston fans. 3 stars (Johnny's Right, He Is An Idiot) - Up until I read this book, he was my favorite Red Sox player. Now, not so much. He truly is an idiot and a self centered one at that. No one should speak of the mother of their children in the way he does in this book. His children may read this someday and what will they think. He should be ashamed of himself. ...
